Fire Pro Investigations Ltd. was incorporated in 2000 to be a full-service fire consulting firm serving clients from the insurance and legal communities. Our goal is to provide our clients with an in-depth resource of expertise that promises both responsive and cost-effective services. We achieve this through an objective investigation, thorough documentation and solid conclusions.

 Our investigators continuously update their training and education and stay current with changes in the industry through our affiliations with The International Association of Arson Investigators, The National Association of Fire Investigators, and The International Association
of Firefighters.

The level of expertise, training, and experience in fire investigation, fire prevention, and fire suppression, enables our investigators to recognize all issues of potential significance. If the evidence remains, our documentation and analysis will provide the client with the data for potential liabilities, subrogation, risk exposures and incendiary causes.

Our Approach

Fire origin & cause determination is the applied science of finding out where, how, and why a fire has started. This is accomplished by carefully observing and accurately interpreting smoke, heat, and fire effects on combustibles and other materials to determine the area of origin. Within this area, the investigator must identify the ignition source, the material first ignited and the circumstances bringing the two together. The fire investigator uses this information, information received during interviews and testing to determine the cause, while eliminating other possible causes.

Our approach to fire investigations follows the methodology outlined in NFPA 921, The Guide to Fire and Explosion Investigation. It is our belief that sound methodology results in a solid determination of cause, one that will withstand the rigors of litigation.

 Our team concept allows us to draw on our diverse training and experience in producing a thorough and professional product. By utilizing experts in specialized areas such as electrical, interviewing, and fire code issues, we ensure our findings are accurate.
